Gold net bullish positions fell last week

FXStreet (Mumbai) - As per the data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), speculators decreased their overall gold bullish bets last week after pushing bullish bets higher for three straight weeks.

The non-commercial futures contracts of Comex gold futures saw a weekly change of -2,360 contracts to total a net position of +98,397 contracts during the reporting time period - April 7th to April 14th. Weekly bearish positions increased by 3,971 contracts, while bullish positions saw a small rise by 1,611 contracts.

Meanwhile, during the reporting time period, Gold price dipped from USD 1,210.60/Oz to USD 1,192.60/Oz.
