EUR/USD rises above 1.2400
FXStreet (Córdoba) - EUR/USD gained momentum after the beginning of the American session and broke above 1.2400. The pair printed a fresh daily high at 1.2424 and remains above 1.2420, holding bullish momentum.
Greenback weakened against the euro, the Swiss franc and the yen during the last two hours, boosting some price action in the currency market, that remained quiet, considering yesterday’s sharp moves.
EUR/USD approaching 1.2450
The pair approached yesterday’s highs that lie at 1.2447. The area around 1.2450 is an important short term resistance that capped the upside several times since December 2.
